Sierra Nevada Brewing Stepping Up

Kyle Basile - Friday, November 23, 2018
Not only has Sierra Nevada stepped up
and offered help to those impacted by the campfire blaze. SNBC has new  very special IPA in which 100% of the sales will go to disaster relief victims to restart and rebuild. They named this special brew... Resilience IPA, you'll find this one of a kind brew in cans as well as on draft this January. To top off the helping hands of SNBC with a new brew and assisting those impacted, they decided to throw a thanksgiving dinner for those who have been displaced by the fire. From the spokesperson of SNBC,

"Our owner realized that if we cooked the potatoes in our brew kettle (where we make beer), we could do about 1,000 pounds of mashed potatoes at a time," said Robin Gregory, a spokeswoman for the brewery. "So we are indeed cooking mashed potatoes in the brew kettle."

There was never a doubt SNBC would step up and support their community, this time they've raised the bar and shown their true colors once again and more prominent than ever before. The cherry on top would have to be the Sierra Nevada Camp Fire Relief Fund, in which SNBC opened and started the initial donation of $100,000.
Our hats are off to Ken Grossman and the whole Sierra Nevada Brewing team.

The World Central Kitchen, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., Chico State and several school groups are hosting "Thanksgiving Together," a communal meal they hope will "bring together and bless the community through the unifying and healing power of food."
