Dodds Hayden - Thursday, June 07, 2012

Tonight (6/7) will be the premier of Red Bull Flow Hunters at the Egyptian Theater as the main attraction at the 'Meltdown' kayak film festival. Red Bull athlete Ben Brown should be in attendance as he will be in town to compete in the North Fork Championships and this is his film.

On Friday (6/8) Red Bull will support the North Fork Championship which is a down river kayak race on the N. Fork of the Payette river. The competition (to determine who gets the three wild card spots) happens on Friday at 5pm on the last three miles of the North Fork. After that the festivities move from Banks to Crouch where we will be using our infrastructure to support the party in the park.

Saturday (6/9) is the main event where 30 pro kayakers will race down the rowdiest section of white water on the North Fork. Red Bull is building and branding the launch ramp which will serve as the start gate for the competition. The race gets under way at noon and when its done everyone will head back up to Crouch for the awards and after party. This will be a fun, spectator friendly event, so feel free to tell your friends and come check it out.

The event is attracting top pros from all over the country including our former Red Bull marketing manager, McCall-raised Jesse Murphy.

Don't forget to stop by the Dirty Shame Saloon if you are in Crouch.
